we know that america's decision pretty much afffects the rest of the world. hence, we prayed for whoever God knows will lead the country (and the world) best, especially at this point in time where terrorism thrives... everybody... america gives you... another 4 years of GEORGE W. BUSH!
apart from all hist stupid remarks when he started his first term in office, i now do believe that he may be a good choice for america right now, to handle this war against terrorism, as compared to kerry's anti-war thing or whatever it was. anyhow, i wouldn't really have minded if kerry or bush had won, but now bush has won... oh well. this newly-made american friend of mine gave her view that pretty much made me sorta glad that bush will be spending his maximum term in office...
Quote:
"1. The fact that Kerry said he would NOT stop outsourcing.
2. Partial-birth abortion.
3. Cloning.
4. The fact that I do not feel its safe to change the commander-in-chief during wartime.
5. My issues with gay rights. (I have no problem with giving gay people civil liberties, but I think if you're going to do that, you need to give them to common law couples as well.)
6. Bush said that there would be no draft.
7. People accuse Bush of "using" religion. WHO CARES?! Since when is religion a BAD thing? Basically, Bush says, "Hey, I'm a religious guy. If you don't like it, don't vote for me, because it's going to influence my politics." To be so candid about your religion is a really admirable thing to me.
8. My love and admiration for Laura Bush is undying."
i strongly agree with the part on religion especially.. i mean, WHAT'S WRONG WITH RELIGION? after all, america did use to be a staunch Christian nation until impurities started flooding the nation and created a warped perspective of Christianity. the world NEEDS God.. so i really hope that bush, having won re-elections, will be our hope for restoring the nation's faith... that's what the world actually really needs now. yeah.
